Tasek Corporation Berhad (4698-W), a public listed Company on Bursa Malaysia and a member of Hong Leong Asia Ltd., Singapore. We are a major building material manufacturer with focus on cement manufacturing in Ipoh as well as in concrete business production within Peninsula Malaysia. In line with our business expansion and diversification, we are now seeking highly pro-active and performance-oriented individuals to fill the following vacancies in Ipoh & in Sungai Buloh/KL:
1) Group Credit Control Manager (KL/Sg. Buloh)
Job Responsibilities:
· Accountable for the full spectrum of the credit control functions and related matters as well statutory
compliance, collection activities etc.
· Plan, organize and lead the Credit Control department and all related aspects of credit risk analysis,
evaluation and related areas such as corporate governance and credit related business initiatives.
· Manage risks of company in relation to extension of credit limit, process of new credit applications
and review all customers credit limit.
· Ensure effective and timely recovery of current dues and doubtful debt.
The Requirements:
· Degree in Finance/Accounts/Economics or related discipline. Member of professional accountancy
or relevant bodies will be an added advantage
· At least 8 years of working exposure in the related field
· High level of integrity drives and able to work under extreme pressure and deadlines
2) Production Manager (Ipoh)
Job Responsibilities:
· To take overall charge of the Production & Operations Division and be responsible for departments
assigned namely Raw Materials, Raw Mills, Kilns, Cement Mills & Packing.
· To ensure production costs, quality and manpower planning are met and with in budget.
· To plan and direct the activities of the departments under your charge and to ensure a high level of
production operation efficiency in respect to power consumption, quality of raw materials & products and
packing operations.
· To plan and arrange all production and maintenance schedules of the Division.
· To initiate and review process improvement programs/activities especially in the Kiln, Raw Mills and
Cement Mills Departments.
The Requirements:
· Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
· Preferably with 10 years of relevant working experience in cement industry
· Result-oriented, dynamic and able to work independently
3) Resident Electrical Engineer (Ipoh)
Job Responsibilities:
· Liaise with the Government agencies and statutory bodies such as Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Tenaga Nasional
Berhad and other organizations in respect of electrical power to and in the plant.
· Perform regular inspection, planning, maintenance & project handling of electrical installations and safety of
the plant equipment such as high tension incoming switch gears, transformers and etc up to 132kV.
· Responsible in setting up a program for existing electrical engineers to acquire professional status with BEM
or IEM.
The Requirements:
· Registered as a Competent Electrical Engineer with Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
· Preferably with 5 to 10 years working experience of similar capacity in manufacturing plant with proven
experience in management and leadership role.
· Pro-active, a team player, able to work independently and seamlessly within the various individuals and
departments.
4) Management Trainees (Ipoh)
· Degree in Mechanical, Engineering or any other relevant discipline.
· Preferably with 1 - 2 years working experience in manufacturing plant.
· Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
· Able to work independently with strong sense of responsibility and initiatives.
· Good communication and interpersonal skill.
5) Shift Technical Executives (Ipoh)
· Diploma in Mechanical, Engineering or any other relevant discipline.
· Preferably with 3 - 5 years working experience in manufacturing plant.
· Able to work independently with strong sense of responsibility and initiatives.
· Good communication and interpersonal skill.
6) Secretary to Group Chief Operating Officer (Ipoh)
· Private Secretarial Certificate with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
· Mature, enthusiastic, energetic, and experienced professional with good business judgement.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Ability to exercise judgement and diplomacy when dealing with all levels of management.
· Able to work under pressure.
· Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and verbal.
